Nicole Wood
Nicole is a Biology major at UMass Amherst focusing on Genetics. She is also
working towards a certificate in Marine Biology. For the past two summers, as an intern, she has been researching shipworm endosymbiont phylogeny. In July,
she will participate in coursework in Australia toward her
Marine Biology certificate. She looks forward to scuba diving on the Great
Barrier Reef and cuddling koala bears.
