Like most people in the medical field, my love for helping others has shaped every aspect of my career. I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Suffolk University in Boston and soon realized that I wanted to help the community become healthy and avoid preventable diseases, so I completed a master’s degree in public health from Florida International University and specialized in health promotion interventions.
I have worked in several research projects that have helped me understand that improving quality of life doesn’t have to be hard or expensive. Now, OGLF has given me a platform to share my knowledge with you so that you can get the most out of your health and beauty routines without breaking the bank.
I am pleased to be a part of this unbiased resource for health and beauty advice, as finding a good and trustworthy place to get impartial evaluations is becoming increasingly hard. We all work hard to research advice, tips and products, and only recommend techniques and products that we would use ourselves. Before coming to OGLF I was a research specialist at the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University
When I’m not searching ways to help you get the most out of your beauty and health products or reading scientific journals to give you the most accurate advice possible, you’ll likely find me strapping on an air tank and venturing underwater. When I got my first scuba diving certification years ago, I never thought diving would become such an important part of my life.
Now, as certified rescue scuba diver, I believe diving gives me the opportunity to explore worlds most never get to experience in their lives. From WWII shipwrecks to magnificent corals, diving is all about descending into the unknown and enjoying a few hours of just listening to the sound of my bubbles while searching for tiny nudibrachs or magnificent sharks.
